I don’t see any harm in taking advantage of Chitrangda’s position, states Sudhir Mishra!
No one is unbeknownst to the fact that sizzling Chitrangada Singh is considered as a muse of art director Sudhir Mishra. The girl started her successful career with Sudhir, acting in his directorial Hazaron Khwaishein Aisi, which helped her carve a niche in Bollywood.
And today, Chitrangda has reached a level, where no one could ever doubt her acting skills. In fact she stepped into commercial films with Desi Boyz, but still she holds a permanent place in Sudhir’s films.
Justifies Sudhir, “She works for the parts I write. Did I cast her wrong somewhere? The kind of women I write about, strong yet vulnerable, stubborn and the kinds you can’t own, the kind of women I have known in my life, she fits that part. So, I can never be faulted. And since she has now acquired a certain position, I don’t see any harm in me taking advantage of that position.
If somebody started out with me and is now in some position and aids a film, then what’s the harm in that? You never ask why Mahesh works with Emraan Hashmi! It just works like that. For Dhruv, I wanted Kareena Kapoor. I made Khoya Khoya Chand with Soha. Whenever I think the role is right for her, I will always give it to Chitrangda.”
