Shashi Kapoor underwent an eye surgery!
Our Indian Film Industry is blessed with many talented actors and one of them is Shashi Kapoor. The veteran actor has made his special mark in the Indian Cinema.
As per the industry sources, Shashi Kapoor had to undergo a surgery recently. The actor was admitted to the hospital for cataract surgery. The eye surgery was done atKokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. Sources further added that the operation was successful and the actor is fine now. Moreover, he will be discharged soon.
It is notable that Shashi Kapoor belongs to the first family of the Indian Film Industry; the Kapoor Family. He is the brother of showmanRaj Kapoor and Shammi Kapoor. The actor has enacted in remarkable movies like Kanyadan, Jab Jab Phool Khile,Haseena Maan Jayegi, Ek Shriman Ek Shrimati, Pyar Ka Mausam, Mukti, Heeralal, Junoon, Chori Mera Kaam,Dada and Namak Halal.
Shashi Kapoor was honoured with Padma Bhushan by the Government of India in the year 2011.
