Rajeev Khandelwal says he doesn’t need any paid audience
TV actor Rajeev Khandelwal, who walked out of his highly popular daily Kaahin To Hoga in order to make it big in Bollywood like many others, debuted in town with critically acclaimed Aamir.
However, the actor is yet to achieve the star status when it comes to typical Bollywood Masala entertainer. He was later even seen in Bejoy Nambiar’s Shaitanand will soon appear in Table No. 21 also featuringTena Desae and Paresh Rawal.
Speaking over his journey in town and the response from fans, he says that he does not need paid audiences as he has enough people who like him anyway. Rajeev said, “I am very fortunate that I don’t feel the need for a paid audience, they still like me. Every time I get a good reception and welcomed wherever I go and I hope that this continues progressively day and night. So I am very happy”.
Rajeev and his Table No. 21 co-star Tena were at Mithibai College recently to promote the film. Explaining why they chose to do a promotional event at a college, he said, “Our purpose of coming to the college is not just the film’s promotion. After watching the film, you will come to know that it is very important for college-goers to watch this film”.
The film is to release on January 13!
