Since the announcement of the sequel of unforgettable romantic flick Aashiqui, guesswork has been on the moves. Now when the lead cast has been roped in with Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapoor, director Mohit Suri has spilled the beans about the reasons of picking these two actors and the reason is totally valid.
Aashiqui 2 is a musical love story and both the casts have been playing some or the other musical instruments from long time. The buzz also has it that the lead casts of Aashiqui 2are going to vocalize their talent in the movie. Yes! After Amitabh Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh and Ayushmann Khurrana and many more, it’s time for Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapoor. Shraddha loves playing piano and Aditya is into guitar.
Shraddha, who has been playing piano since a decade is on the go with polishing up her vocal chords and is also a fan ofLata Mangeshkar spoke more on it, “I’ve been playing the piano for more than a decade now and I can say I’m well-versed in it. As of now, we are taking singing classes too but the final decision of whether we perform rests solely on Mohit.”
Mohit Suri said, “I wanted a leading cast that would be familiar with musical instruments as the plot and role clearly demands it. I’m aware that both Shraddha and Aditya are practicing hard on their voice.”
