Spending Rs. 100 from his pocket is definitely no big deal for Shahrukh Khan! Well, as per the latest buzz, the actor is off the hook in a case pertaining to smoking in public after paying a measly fine of Rs. 100. This must have brought a big grin on his face for sure.
The Bollywood badshah faced quite troubles for smoking at a stadium in Rajasthan during an IPLgame between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on April 8.
Anand Singh, who runs the Jaipur Cricket Academy, had filed the petition in the court complaining against Shahrukh’s smoking act in open view of the cameras. The case was filed under section 5 read with 11 of Rajasthan Prohibition of Smoking Act, 2000, which prohibits smoking at a public places.
However recently, the case was settled when Shahrukh Khan pleaded ‘guilty’ of smoking through his counsel in a Jaipur court. The court told the actor to play a fine of Rs. 100. As per sources, SRK’s council agreed to pay the fine and the case was finally closed.
