Kareena Kapoor and Madhur Bhandarkar celebrated friendship day with orphan kids….
You might have gone for outing, a movie or to a party to celebrate the most liked festival of youth The Friendship Day, which was celebrated on August 5.
However, Madhur Bhandarkar and Kareena Kapoor celebrated this occasion with small kids and they invited the kids of Smile Foundation on the sets of Heroine and exchanged friendship bands. You may say this was a promotional event for their upcoming movie, but at least they had thought of the orphan kids.
Over the joyful time Kareena spent with the kids, she shared, “I have never celebrated Friendship Day before this and no one has ever given me a friendship band. This is my first and I am so glad it is. I couldn’t have asked for a better beginning to the day.”
While on the other side, director of the movie, Madhu Bhandarkar said, “I am delighted to see these kids on my set. And now I am friends with all of them. It is truly my best Friendship Day celebration”.
Madhur gave away chocolates to all the kids and the kids, in-return, gave friendship certificates to Madhur and Kareena.
We must say you made the day for the kids!
