Was it John Abraham who threw Katrina Kaif out of his 2003 horror film Saaya?
Remember the 2003 Bollywood horror Saaya, starring John Abraham-Tara Sharma and directed by Anurag Basu. Yes, we know there is nothing to remember about that dud release but here we have a secret for you regarding that flick.
Not many know that Tara Sharma wasn’t the first choice for this film, and actually it was first offered to Katrina Kaif and she had signed it too. But suddenly things changed and Tara came on board replacing Katrina. Reasons were unknown behind the sudden change but it came as utter shock for this British import. Some even said that it was her inability to speak Hindi, which cost her the movie.
You must be wondering what suddenly made us to take you walk down the memory lane. Well, it is Salman Khan who has brought the entire issue in light again revealing that it was John who threw his former ladylove out of the film.
Talking about Katrina’s journey, Salman Khan recently said, “One day she was crying because John Abraham threw her out of a film (Saaya). I was like, ‘So, why are you crying? He has done you a favour. There will be a time that you perhaps would be able to throw him out of a film. Don’t throw him out of the film, work with him.
That was when New York happened. And we all know that John and Katrina made hungama at the BO with that one!
