Hrithik Roshan rescues Sharmila Tagore at Casablanca Airport
Veteran actress Sharmila Tagore, who’s a jury member at the Marrakech Film International Festival, who on her way to the festival on Thursday, but as luck would have it, she found her suitcase drenched in rainwater on the conveyor belt at Casablanca Airport.
Of course, it was a case of negligence, but the airline staff wasn’t listening to her. But fortunately, Hrithik Roshan, who was also travelling with her, immediately came to her help as he pulled up an airport officer for the negligence and asked him to apologise right away.
Says a source, “The officer, who was already embarrassed, apologized to Sharmila.” Meanwhile, the top brass of the Indian film industry will be present at a special tribute to Indian films organised by the festival. Some of the other actors who landed in Marrakech on Thursday were Rishi Kapoor, Tabu, Arjun Rampal,Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan.
The opening ceremony of the festival on Friday saw a performance by Malaika Arora Khan and a screening of Karan Johar’s Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.
