Madhuri Dixit-Nene begins work on Gulab Gang
The actor posted a picture of her costume meeting for her film Gulab Gang that goes on the floors in October
Madhuri Dixit-Nene, who is making her second comeback in Bollywood with director Anubhav Sinha’s first outing as a producer, Gulab Gang, posted a picture of her costume sitting with director Soumik Sen and his team. Like Bollywoodlife told you some time back, the film goes on the floors in October.
Said Madhuri on her social networking pages, “Reviewing the costumes and schedule for ‘Gulab Gang’ with Soumik Sen… ‘Gulab Gang’ looks way cool. Something for everyone…acting, dancing, song, and action sequences. Excited.”
“Shooting starting in October. The film should release in March,” she further posted.
After a successful Bollywood career, Madhuri took a break from showbiz when she married US-based surgeon Dr Shriram Nene and shifted to Denver from Mumbai to start a family. Her first comeback was with Yash Raj Films’ Aaja Nachle in 2007, after which she went back to the US. Now she is back in India forever, and back in tinseltown as well. Currently seen judging season dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5, Madhuri has also launched a production house.
The actor will also be seen in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Dedh Ishqiya, a sequel to 2010 hit Ishqiya. The film begins January 2013.
