Ameesha Patel wants to do item numbers
Ameesha Patel who debuted as the sweet girl next door with megahit ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai’ went for a sexy makeover in ‘Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic’ but the film failed to create magic at the box office. The girl who is going downhill in her career has quite a handful of offers to look forward to. She is a part of ‘Race 2’ and is also playing the lead role of a high profile prostitute in another project.
Ameesha impressed both fans and producers alike by her fabulous performance at the recent Apsara awards. The performance was definitely commendable given the fact that she managed the dance with one day’s practice on seductive numbers like Chikni Chameli and Ooh La La on the stage. Praises came showering on her both from the organisers at Wizcraft and even Yash Chopra personally.
As such, the actress is now very keen to do item numbers in not only her own productions but also for other banners.
The actress is also getting praises for her looks and well-maintained figure. The directors of Race – Abbas and Mustan – recently told her that when they saw her on the sets of Race 2, they felt that she had done a wonderful job of maintaining herself over the years.
