I am immensely proud of being my father’s son, asserts Abhishek Bachchan!
Abhishek Bachchan, who is currently in Chicagobusy shooting for upcoming film Dhoom 3, is now taking it slow and steady.
Now it has been two months since the release of Bol Bachchan and despite the Rs 100 crore marks, at the box office, Abhishek Bachchan is not in any hurry to sign anything new at the moment. Currently he is having only Dhoom 3 in his kitty.
“The whole idea is to dedicate myself entirely to this film. Even when I was doing Bol Bachchan, I was completely dedicated to it. I have been doing just that since the last eight to nine years. I have some scripts lying around at home but I haven’t had the time to read them,” said Abhishek.
So, after spending 12 years in Bollywood, does he still feel the pressure of being Amitabh Bachchan’s son? Pat comes the reply, “First of all, I have no pressure as such. I think the media feels the pressure more than I do. I never think about it and I am immensely proud of being my father’s son. I am just an actor who works doubly hard for every film.”
Currently in Chicago, he says, “I am on a three month-long outdoor shoot schedule. It will take up all my time. So holidays and other celebrations have to be clubbed alongside.”
Seems Jr. B has been taking lessons from Aamir Khan of late, who too believes in doing one film at a time!
